reader's workshop

HW: RJ 9.2 T.O. chapters 10/11

We start off the class by taking a minute and writing the agenda in our binder reminders.

Ms. Nakada then read Luis' blog and we made corrections to it.

We then do our Createober Day 8 drawings. 

Then, we listened to our song for the week titled, "Blue Jeans and White T-Shirts" by Gaslight Anthem. 

After listening to the song, we wrote down what we thought the song was about, what the tone was, what the themes were, what era it was set in, and how it relates to The Outsiders.

Lastly, we write down our notes about chapter 5 of The Outsiders by S.E Hinton.

Agenda  Take a minute Blog corrections Week:20 GQQSL Last letters First we sat down and took out our Binder Reminder while taking a minute. Then, Emerson and Kevin read the blog. After that, we took out our note books and we finished our week 20-22: Grammar, Quote, Question, Song, Lines. Then, we started writing letters to our future self, called last letter. After, we got the envelope. Then, we packed up and then, Ms. Nakada dismissed us.

Agenda  Take a minute  blog corrections  week: 20 G.Q.Q.Q.S.L HW: complete IRplan for the summer  First we came into class, we then sat down at our desks and started to get comfortable. Then, we started to work on our Grammar. We then worked on our Quote for this week. The quote is ¨I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.¨ Maya Angelou. We finished and moved on to our ten year plans. Finally, we packed up and left.
