After that, we got out our English notebooks. Then, we wrote down the week 5 grammar, quote, question, and song. The grammar was sentence study which is basically studying the structure of a complete sentence and sentence fragments. Our quote for the week was, "Once you learn to read, you will forever be free." - Frederick Douglass. Then we discussed what he was saying. He was basically saying that this is a kind of freedom because you can think for yourself once you learn to read and read a lot. The question was what is your history as a reader? You write about your history with reading in 4 sentences. After that, we opened our A.C.E. strategy notes. We reviewed them then we answered A.C.E. prompts about School Trip .
