 AGENDA  Take a minute  Blog corrections  Conducting research  Reader's workshop Lit circles HW: RJ 8,4 14 I-Ready lessons First, we came into the classroom and wrote down the Agenda. After that, we did "Take a minute" then, Hazel read yesterday's blog. When it was time to read the blog she did a roulette and in landed on my name. Then, we took out our composition books and then, we went to page 41 to write down how to do conducting research. After that, we choose a black author to do research about (It was one author per person) and everyone chose somebody. Then, we packed up and Ms. Nakada dismissed the class.

Then, after that, Sebastian and Sundiata read the blog, and I was chosen. We then opened our English notebooks and then watched a video about our lines for the week, called "Ain't I A Woman?" We then took out our Chromebook and checked our grades and worked on stuff we were missing in Ms. Nakada's class. We then packed up and leaved.

Circle Books  14 iReady Lessons First, we got out our binder reminders and wrote down the agenda. Then, we got our English notebooks and did a quick review of the quote. After, we discussed the question, privilege and oppression. Then, we got into our literature circles.

 Agenda  take a minute  blog correction week 7 Quiz SLC letters  week 8: G.Q.Q.L Readers  Workshop First, we entered  class and took out our agenda and did the take a minute blog corrections. After we finished our agenda, we took out our English notebooks, and we did our grammar and quote.  The grammar was drama: acts and scenes.  The quote was: "Practice who you want to be every single day." Michelle Obama Then, Ms. Nakada told us to go to our lit circles, we packed up, and we go to our next class.

Take a minute. Blog corrections. Week 7: G.Q.Q.S.L SLC Letters. Lit. Circles. HW: RJ 7.2 - Read Lit. Circle Books First off we pile into class and settle in our seats. Then, once settled, we write down the agenda and watch the take a minute video. After that, we walk down to the book fair, where we browse through their limited selection of literature. Once we get back from the book fair, Lanaja reads her blog and spins a digital wheel to choose the next victim of said, dreaded, blog. I am, coincidentally, the next victim.  Next, we continue writing our SLC letters from where we left off yesterday, aiming to finish them. Finally, we glue this week's lines into our English notebooks and pack up. Then, the bell rings and Ms. Nakada dismisses us from class.

First Ms.Nakada checks for students out of uniform and in school uniform. Then Zloa read her blog then picked me. After that we listen to our take a minute headspace video. Then we went over the question in our G. Q. Q. S. L that we left off on Tuesday. Then we listen to "Freedom" by Beyonce feat. Kendrick Lamar and write down our favorite line.  AGENDA  Take A Minute Blog Corrections Book Project Gallery Walk Week 7: G, Q, Q, S, L HW: RJ 7.1 Read Lit. Circle Books We first watched the take a minute video. Then, Kaleiah read her blog and picked me. After that, Ms. Nakada started walking around and grading everyone's projects. When she was done grading we did the Week 7: G, Q, Q, S, L.  Grammar: diction - style or manner of speaking or writing. Quote: "Take all of the courses in your curriculum. Do the research. Ask questions. Be curious." Katherine Johnson Question: How should we celebrate Presidents' Day? Then, we started packing up, and then Ms. Nakada dismissed us.

 Agenda Take a minute Blog Corrections Lit Circles Week 6: Quiz Writers Workshop HW: Enjoy the weekend Book Projects Due Tuesday 2/18! The first thing we did was sit down and take out our planners and write the agenda down. Then, Genesis read the blog. Then, after that, we got in our lit circles. After lit circles, we did week: 6 quiz. Then, we did  writers workshop and cleaned up. Then, the bell rang, and Ms. Nakada dismissed us.

Ms. Nakada gave us some ideas for our book projects. We packed up and we left.

Liam read his blog, and then Ms. Nakada went over Liam's blog and made corrections. After that, we got into literature circles and read our books. After reading, we wrote down what happens in our books. Then, we go back to our seats and get ready to complete our essays. We quietly worked on our essays for a few minutes before packing up and getting ready to leave.

Emerson read his blog, and Ms. Nakada informed us that she was checking our binder reminders and literature circles. We got to work on our I.O.A.B.A. essays. Then , we began our quizzes. We ended our class off by packing up and going to sixth period.

When our time was up we listened to our 5 week song and wrote about it. When we finished we started working on our essays. Then, when it was time to leave we packed up and left to our next class.

Then, I got picked by the wheel and then we moved to our lit circle groups. After, we wrote our question of the week in our reading journals. Then, we started to work on our I.O.&B.A. essays. Finally, the bell rang, we packed up, and left.
